Yasser Arafat placed a Hamas leader under house arrest in the Gaza Strip as Israeli forces once again surrounded the Palestinian leader's headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Also, six Palestinians were killed in an apparent Israeli Army strike on suspected militants in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minster Ariel Sharon says the incursions and attacks are part of an effort to stop suicide bombers, who killed 26 Israelis last week. NPR's Linda Gradstein reports. (3:54)
