Amtrak's board of directors meets today with Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta. The meeting comes after Amtrak president David Gunn threatened to shut down the struggling national rail service. But the Bush administration has said it does not want Amtrak to collapse, and members of Congress are hopeful the meeting will prevent a mid-week shutdown. NPR's Andrea Seabrook reports.
