Death Penalty Debate

Scott Simon talks to Joshua Marquis, a district attorney in Oregon, and Elisabeth Semmal of the Death Penalty Clinic at U.C.-Berkeley School of Law, about two decisions issued this week by the U.S. Supreme Court that could reduce the number of death penalty cases in this country.
