War Lessons

Each branch of the U.S. military has recently completed internal assessments of its performance in the war in Afghanistan. The evaluations are customary after every war, and as NPR's Tom Gjelten reports, military officials are looking to these reports for guidance in planning for a possible war in Iraq.
