With no good beaches nearby, Parisians have decided to build their own, right in the city. Officials have blocked off streets and hauled in tons of sand to give their new beach an authentic feel. The change will not make Paris one of the world's great beach spots, but NPR's Nick Spicer reports that Parisians are flocking to their new urban beachfront.
