NPR's Jennifer Ludden reports on Mazen al-Najjar — a Palestinian man now being deported after the U.S. government labeled him a national security risk. Al-Najjar spent four years in prison based on secret evidence linking him to Islamic militant groups. A judge ordered his release, but al-Najjar was detained again last November, following the terrorist attacks. His lawyer says al-Najjar has no criminal charges against him, and is only being deported because his visa has expired.
