The United States and Canada continue to develop joint programs to increase surveillance of the border between the two nations. The Integrated Border Enforcement System is a coordinated effort between the two nations' various police forces that watches the more remote portions of the border that terrorists may find vulnerable. NPR's Jackie Northam reports.
