Writer Askia Muhammad celebrates the work of his friend and mentor, journalist Ethel Payne, who was honored this past weekend with a stamp issued by the U.S. Postal Service. Stamps were issued to honor three other women in journalism: Nellie Bly, Marguerite Higgins and Ida Tarbell.
