Tougher border enforcement has pushed smugglers along the US-Mexican border to find new and more dangerous ways to get people and drugs across the border. The latest strategy is to race through border checkpoints with specially retrofitted vans and trucks into oncoming traffic driving south. From member station KPBS in San Diego, Eric Niiler reports.
