Sept. 11 Intelligence Hearing

NPR's Steve Inskeep reports on the Congressional investigation into the intelligence lapse prior to the Sept. 11 attacks. Investigators say there was no indication that terrorists were specifically targeting the Pentagon and World Trade Center, but they don't think the intelligence agencies did everything they could to detect a possible attack. The joint Senate and House panel holds its first public meeting today.
