Secretary of State Colin Powell insisted on the urgency of an action against Iraq at yesterday's House International Relations Committee hearing. He said the White House was prepared to launch an attack without international support, and to possibly commit U.S. resources to years of clean-up after a regime change. NPR's Steve Inskeep reports.
