Despite paltry television coverage and second-rate status given to American soccer teams, Major League Soccer is trying to capitalize on the U.S. National Team's unprecedented performance at this year's World Cup. NPR's Tom Goldman reports on efforts to attract attention to today's start of the MLS playoffs.
