NPR's David Welna reports on the emotional speech given today on the Senate floor by Majority Leader Tom Daschle. The South Dakota Democrat was responding to a comment made by President Bush that the Senate is "not interested in the security of the American people." Daschle, who had been working with the White House on trying to find common language on a resolution backing the use of force in Iraq, demanded an apology from Mr. Bush. (4:15)
