Next Wave Festival

Tonight in New York, the Brooklyn Academy of Music is launching its 20th annual Next Wave Festival. When Harvey Lichtenstein took over as president of BAM, it was a run-down institution in a marginal neighborhood that had trouble luring Manhattanites across the East River. Today, the Next Wave Festival is a place to hear such big ticket names as Phillip Glass, Mark Morris and Steve Reich. Jeff Lunden reports.
