Al Gore
NPR's Mara Liasson reports that Al Gore stayed out of the limelight during most of 2001, and seemed reticent in taking on President Bush this year. But that seems to be changing, as the former vice president last week attacked President Bush's policy on Iraq, and today criticized Bush's handling of the economy.
