U.S. - Canada Border

NPR's Jennifer Ludden reports on opposition to a U.S.-Canada plan for processing refugees. Many refugees now find it easier to enter the United States than Canada, although that is their final destination. They wait in the U.S. while their application for asylum in Canada is processed. Under the proposal, if refugees land in the United States, they would only be able to seek asylum here.
