U.S. Seeks Diplomacy and Tough Standards

President Bush met yesterday with NATO Secretary-General George Robertson. Mr. Bush says the United States will try diplomacy one more time as United Nations Security Council member countries debated the latest U.S. proposed resolution. That proposal would stiffen standards for arms inspections and call for serious consequences if Iraq did not meet the terms of an inspection agreement. NPR's Michele Kelemen reports. (4:05)
