Commentator Frank Deford says spring training in Florida used to hold the hope of warmer days for snowbound Americans in colder parts of the country. Now, he says, Major League Baseball's fall from grace as the national past time has as much to do with cheap flights to the Bahamas as people's migration to homes in warmer climates.
