Bush's Action on Libby: Legal Implications

President George W. Bush has commuted the sentence of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff. Libby was convicted of lying and obstructing justice after an investigation into the leak of the identity of CIA operative Valerie Plame. He had been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in federal prison. Dahlia Lithwick, legal analyst for the online magazine Slate, talks with Alex Cohen.
