White House Extends Policy on AIDS Funding

The Bush administration extends the "Mexico City Rule" to AIDS funding. It prohibits U.S. funding of foreign programs that perform abortions. In many developing countries, family planning groups provide most AIDS services, and critics say the restriction could have a devastating effect on the AIDS epidemic. NPR's Brenda Wilson reports.
