NPR's Michele Norris talks with political analyst David Brooks of the Weekly Standard about Defense Secretary Rumsfeld's no-nonsense and to some offensive way of talking. In recent months, Rumsfeld has alienated traditional U.S. allies France and Germany by referring to them as Old Europe. Yesterday he struck again — this time with remarks about Britain.
