Plane Passenger Lands Unhurt After Being Ejected

As part of South Africa's Air Force aerobatic team, a man got a ride on a military plane. Investigators suspect the passenger was trying to steady himself during maneuvers when he grabbed a lever between his legs. It was the eject lever. The man hurtled into the sky on a rocket-propelled seat. A rescue helicopter later found him — unhurt.

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep with a cautionary tale. This could happen to you. A man got a ride on a military plane. It's part of the South African Air Force aerobatic team. Investigators suspect the passenger was trying to steady himself during maneuvers. He grabbed a lever between his legs - the eject lever. The man hurtled into the sky on a rocket-propelled seat.
