So far, six suspects are in custody in connection with the brutal gang rape of a 15-year-old girl outside her high school and Richmond, Calif. The horrific crime, which happened during a homecoming dance, is compounded by police reports that nearly two dozen people witnessed the assault and did not report it.

Two members of the victim's high school community — student Norma Bautista and biology teacher Ronald Bremond — explain the town's reaction to the crime and outrage among community leaders.

Programming note: Shortly after this conversation with Michel Martin was recorded, authorities with the Richmond Police Department announced the arrest of a seventh person in connection to the sexual assault.
