These days, Hennessy focuses on her first love: music. She brought songs from Ghost in My Head to Mountain Stage, along with cellist Brian Standefer and guitarist Robbie Gjersoe.

Here, Hennessy shares a story about busking on the streets of Toronto to earn enough money for a ticket to see the Indigo Girls — only to discover that the concert was sold out. "But I'm going to watch them tonight," she says of her fellow guests for the evening's program. The Indigo Girls' Amy Ray and Emily Saliers even invited Hennessy to sing along on two songs during their own Mountain Stage set.
