LINDA WERTHEIMER, host:

Well, if you found that story discouraging, here's a tale of one entrepreneur whose small business seems to be thriving. Maybe that's because he's willing to go to extremes to sell his product. Our last word in business today is will it blend?

(Soundbite of music)

Unidentified Man: I love my new iPhone. It does everything. But will it blend? That is the question. Let's find out.

(Soundbite of banging)

Unidentified Man: I think I'm going to push the smoothie button.

(Soundbite of blender)

WERTHEIMER: Yes, folks, the man is blending a $500 iPhone. It's one of many outrageous blending videos he's posted online in a bid to sell his Blentech brand blender. The videos warn not to try this at home. They suggest blending a healthy, green drink instead.
