NPR's Scott Simon talks to two military analysts about Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's efforts to transform the way the U.S. military fights war. Retired Maj. Gen. Bill Nash was an armored brigade commander in the 1991 Gulf War and in Bosnia. Richard Kohn teaches military history at the University of North Carolina.
