Cara Dillon In Concert: GlobalFEST 2010

Cara Dillon was born to a family of musicians in Northern Ireland. In addition to singing, Dillon plays the fiddle and whistles, though it is her voice that has carried her reputation as an accomplished folk artist. In 1994 she lent her vocals to the folk group Equation, and in 2001 she launched her solo career with a self titled album. Throughout the 00’s, Dillon has received a great deal of attention from the folk world, and from her performance at GlobalFEST, it is easy to understand why. Backed by an array of acoustic guitars, whistles and winds, her Celtic style set a peaceful mood in the auditorium.
