Creator of 'Babar' Dies at 99

NPR's Scott Simon remembers the creator of Babar the elephant. Cecile de Brunhoff told the story of Babar to her children. Her husband later turned the story into the world-famous series of children's books. Mrs. de Brunhoff died this week. She was 99 years old.
