Men In Gowns Kick Off Saints' Super Bowl Party
LINDA WERTHEIMER, host:
Good morning. I'm Linda Wertheimer.
The party's started in New Orleans for the Saints' first-ever Super Bowl. Earlier this week, a bunch of guys paraded around the French Quarter in ball gowns, including former quarterback Bobby Hebert in gold lame. It was a memorial to the Saints announcer Buddy Diliberto, who promised to walk Bourbon Street in a dress if the Saints ever got to the big game. Buddy D died five years ago.
It's MORNING EDITION.
