Civilian Deaths in Mosul Attributed to Marines

Iraqis in the northern town of Mosul say U.S. Marines have killed 17 civilians there over the past two days. In one incident, Marines say they fired back after coming under fire. There are reports that some deaths occurred as U.S. troops clashed with a stone-throwing mob. Hear David Rohde of The New York Times.
