Atkins Obit

Dr. Robert C. Atkins, pioneer of the popular low-carbohydrate approach to losing weight, dies. NPR's Elaine Korry reports that while his legacy, the Atkins diet, remains incredibly controversial, consumer demand for low-carb products and consumer interest in the Atkins style of eating is at an all-time high.
