RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.

Here's another story from last week's big snow. Donna McPherson took her terrier Lexie for a quick trip to a grocery store in her Brooklyn neighborhood. The small, white dog wore his green, wool coat, complete with leather trim and belt. But when McPherson came out of the store, Lexie's wool coat was gone. The very cold terrier had been mugged. But his owner says, at least Lexie wasn't wearing his Burberry.

It's MORNING EDITION.
