Bush Considering Phased-In Tax Cuts

The White House is considering phasing in parts of President Bush's proposed $550 billion tax-cut package in an effort break an impasse within Congress, Treasury Secretary John Snow says. Four moderate Republican senators have said they will vote against the plan, already slashed from an original $726 billion, if it is not reduced further. Hear NPR's Jim Zarroli.
