Gingrich Assails U.S. State Department

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich — now a Pentagon adviser — calls for an overhaul of the State Department, citing what he calls "diplomatic failure" in the months leading to war. He warns that U.S. diplomats could squander the military's gains in Iraq. NPR's Scott Horsley reports.
