From Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Robert Rand profiles singer Sevara Nazarkhan. Her style draws from traditional sounds of Asia and the Silk Road, often placing those elements into a modern pop context. She's now released a CD in the West, called Yol Bolsin (Real World 7243 543206 2 0).
