NPR's Steve Inskeep sends a postcard from the ancient city of Babylon. This Iraqi city has seen many rulers. One of the earliest was Hammurabi, who codified ancient law. More recently, Saddam Hussein ordered some of Babylon's walls to be rebuilt using bricks inscribed with his name.
