European Leaders Confer on Defenses

Leaders of France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg meet in Brussels and propose creating a new European defense headquarters while pledging to boost Europe's military capabilities. The four states were among Europe's most vocal critics of the U.S.-led war in Iraq. NPR's Nick Spicer reports.
