Rumsfeld: Military Role in Afghanistan Changing

In Afghanistan, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld announces that major combat activity is over, and that U.S. forces now will concentrate on providing security and fostering reconstruction. The declaration comes just hours before President Bush is to declare that combat has also concluded in Iraq. NPR's Michael Sullivan reports.
