Mattel Releases Barbie 'Mad Men' Collection

If Don Draper were to join Ken and Barbie at a backyard barbecue, you know his mind would be on his latest mistress. Both he and his estranged wife, Betty, would want their martinis and cigarettes, which won't be on hand with Mattel's new Barbie Fashion Collection of characters from the show Mad Men out Tuesday.

RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.

If Don Draper were to join Ken and Barbie at a backyard barbecue, you know his mind would be on his latest mistress. And both he and his estranged wife Betty would want their martinis and cigarettes. Mattel's new Barbie Fashion Collection of characters from the show "Mad Men" goes on sale today. Actually, there are no ashtrays or cocktail shakers, but the dolls will be dressed in the JFK era, lot of overcoats, pearls and padded undergarments.

It's MORNING EDITION.
