Indian Trust Fund Trial Begins

NPR's Allison Aubrey reports on the commencement of the Indian Trust Fund trial. At issue are royalties from mining, oil drilling and timber sales on Indian lands. The Interior Department is responsible for collecting the royalties and then distributing the money back to Indian accounts. But reports of missing or diverted funds go back 100 years.
