STEVE INSKEEP, host:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

A community college in Maryland is running short of classroom space. They needed to come up with a way to make room for more students. So Anne Arundel Community College has begun scheduling courses beginning at midnight. They figure many students are up anyway - studying, they're up studying. One class this fall will run from 12:00 to 3:00 A.M. It is, of course, a psychology class, and so, of course, people are calling it Midnight Madness.
