Senate Approves $350 Billion Tax Cut Plan

By a 51-49 vote, the Senate approves a plan to cut individual income taxes and some business levies by $350 billion dollars over the next 10 years. The plan temporarily eliminates taxes on stock dividends. Vice President Dick Cheney cast the deciding vote on that part of the measure. Hear NPR's David Welna and NPR's Don Gonyea.
