Sharon, Abbas to Hold First Meeting

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and newly installed Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas meet Saturday in Jerusalem — their first face-to-face encounter. Sharon is due at the White House in coming days as U.S. officials attempt to jump-start peace efforts. NPR's Peter Kenyon reports.
