FedEx Express and Environmental Defense, which have been collaborating for three years on ways to cut pollution, unveil a new hybrid electric diesel truck. FedEx says that over the next decade it could replace its fleet of 30,000 delivery trucks with these hybrids, which use less fuel, emit fewer fumes and can capture and reuse electricity.
