EPA Administrator Whitman to Step Down

Listen: Hear NPR News

Christie Whitman, head of the Environmental Protection Agency, says she will resign at the end of June to return to her family in New Jersey. The announcement comes two days after White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said he would step down in July. Hear NPR's Don Gonyea.
