Author Joe McGinniss has taken up residence in a house next to Sarah Palin's lakeside home in Wasilla, Alaska. Palin posted on Facebook that she'll be starting on a tall fence between her and her biographer.

RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.

Sarah Palin may not actually be able to see Russia from her house, but she can see a new neighbor - and she doesn't like the view. Palin posted on Facebook that author Joe McGinniss has just rented a house next door to her lakeside home in Wasilla, Alaska. McGinniss has written critical articles about her in the past, and is now working on a book about Palin. On Facebook, Palin says this week, she'll be starting on a tall fence between her and her biographer.

It's MORNING EDITION.
