Toothpaste Made in China Recalled

A company that distributes toothpaste to hotels says it will recall the product because the toothpaste, made in China, contains a chemical used to make antifreeze.

Also, toymaker Mattel is due to announce a second recall of its Chinese-made toys. Less than two weeks ago, Mattel recalled about a million preschool toys with characters like Big Bird and Elmo because they contained lead paint — a day after Chinese state media reported that the head of the Chinese company that made the toys for Mattel committed suicide.
