Hermitage

NPR s Lawrence Sheets reports that in honor of St. Petersburg's 300th anniversary, the Hermitage Museum is staying open 24 hours for the first time in its 240-plus year history. The museum is increasingly striking up partnerships with foreign funding sources in order to lessen reliance on the local government. It's also unveiling several updated and new exhibits over the next few weeks.
