MARY LOUISE KELLY, host:
Good morning. I'm Mary Louise Kelly.
Sixteen-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber has upcoming shows in New York, L.A. and Pyongyang. Bieber invited the public to vote on which country he should visit on his MY World tour. But online pranksters got wind of the competition. They sent North Korea to the number one spot, with over half a million votes. It seems unlikely the Hermit Kingdom will catch Bieber fever. And there's no word on whether the Dear Leader is a fan.
It's MORNING EDITION.
