Bush Meets with Sharon, Abbas on Peace Plan

In Jordan, President Bush confers with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas on the U.S.-backed "road map" to Mideast peace. Sharon pledges to dismantle illegal settlements in Palestinian areas, and Abbas denounces all terrorism against Israel. Bush says a U.S. mission on the ground will help the parties move toward peace.
